The folks where I get my thinning, salt and pepper hair trimmed are often doing something that I love and am a bit too hesitant to try. I loved some purple streaks that they were putting in a young lady's hair. They told me to buy artist chalk -not sidewalk - and give it a try. I used a deep purple and have to say I really loved it. So, now I occasionally put a few streaks in. However, I don't want to look like my grandmother did many years ago when she would come home from the salon with blue hair!
I can so relate to this Cathy......my hair rather alarms be by coming out regularly.....ut has gone so fine too whereas it used to be thick & a little bit curly. I do colour it but only to take away the rather dull look. I applaud your purple bits....very funky!
