I have been waiting to share this. It is my entry for "Sign" in the 36th round of the Scavenger Hunt. This is my niece, Mandy. She is an ASL interpreter. I set this up in my living room in natural light - because I have no idea what I am doing - and had Tom behind her holding my background. I can do these so much better now with the new updates to LR. I am proud of this because I got the emotion I wanted. She brought the soundtrack to "Hamilton" and reenacted her role as Eliza that she did here at the Aronoff. She has gotten to work with Billy Joel and Elton John at our large outdoor venue. She has been in the delivery room when babies were being born and gotten to go on cruise ships.
Fabulous photo! Good for her. My son took ASL in college. He learned so much about the culture. There was a deaf school not too far where they would go.
