I needed to use up a lot of the Swiss Chard from the garden, so I decided to make a quiche (or "cheese-egg pie," as some folks prefer to call it...). It tasted pretty darn good!
Ummm...tasty treat! Your photo looks like something out of a recipe book, and I'd definately give it a try based on looks alone! ...and to answer your question, we'll be in Chicago until Nov 4, so if you're making plans, *Yes*!
OMG! This looks incredible! I am such a sucker for quiche. I love the the red coffee pot behind it, too. It makes it this shot look so warm and cozy-looking.
BTW-Are you considering a visit to Chicago on the weekend of the 23rd-24th? Would love to meet up with you all. I'm going to be gone or busy most of the weekends that Louise is in town, so I can't organize another large, weekend meet-up this time, but since Louise and Ken will be staying around the corner from me...I will probably get together with her in my 'hood one weeknight. However, I'd love to meet you and Cheryl, too, so if you're around that weekend let me know, and perhaps we could meet for coffee on Saturday morning. UNLESS - you're get to town on Friday night...I could do that, too.
