Tree and Moon by chikadnz

Tree and Moon

We've been quite busy with work and other commitments over the last week. I've still managed to photograph something every day but haven't had the time to edit and upload. Sadly, I think this is the furthest behind I've been, but hope to catch up again within the next few days.

I'm also feeling frustrated at the moment due to computer problems. After we upgraded our Mac operating systems a few days ago I'm still receiving email but no websites will load. I have older versions of Lightroom and Photoshop; LR appears to be working ok until I plug my phone into the computer to transfer photos, then it shuts down. I haven't worked out how to get the photos off my phone yet! PS won't open for me today either. Thankfully I've been able to work around the problems by using John's computer!

This morning I took some photos on my phone, on the way home from a night shift. This evening John was home from work earlier than usual, and as he explains we went to the park to rescue another of our geocaches that needed maintenance. As we were walking through the park we saw these silhouetted trees against the evening sky.

John's photo is here: https://365project.org/nzkites/365/2018-07-17

Photos from your iPhone can be added to your computer - just use your charging cord and plug the usb end into the usb on your computer. The other end goes into your iPhone of course. Then in Photos you double tap your iPhone icon and then follow instructions.
This tree is really distorted - makes a good photo against the sky!

Hmm I know the late uploading of pics too. It can become quite problematic when life gets busy. Great silhouette by the way.

Good silhouette Janice. I use PhotoSync app to transfer pix from phone to computer. Just press a few buttons and they are there. No need for cords.

Apologies for the late reply. @Dawn @deeganp @jacqbb @fbailey @korky thanks for looking and commenting. @maggiemae I had been doing something similar but after I upgraded OS, the photo programme I was using shut down every time I plugged in the phone. @lizochka Thanks for the suggestion, it sounds like a good option for future use. We were able to solve the computer problems for the moment by uninstalling and going back to the previous OS!!
