Palm trees in our area are being devastated by a red Beatle from Egypt . We've lost 9 now. The chap who cut this one down somehow managed to get it to fall in exactly the right place damaging nothing. I watched in fear and trepidation from the window. He is cutting the centre out here. The smell of the rotten palm is dreadful!
What a shame. The loppers are brilliant aren't they. We had two trees taken out from the back of our house and not a single plant was damaged.
