@atwinfay no Sharron, there's a red beetle that's infesting the Phoenix palms. The grubs eat them from the inside top bit where the new fronds start. We've spent lots of money trying to save ours but gave up in the end. We have only 2 left. Somewhere earlier in the year I posted a shot of one of ours being cut down.
@chimfa How sad. We have an Emerald Ash Borer here in WI. The city has cut down all the ash trees on city property whether they were infected or not. Hope your last two remain healthy! I will look back for your picture.
