Art exhibition Malta.

We went to the hospital set up by the Knights Templar yesterday and were amazed by the way it had been run. One ward is now used as an art gallery with this as the first exhibit. It was larger than life and quite extraordinary to see.
Interesting piece, almost like the artist knew it would be displayed in a hospital and wanted to show the body's muscles.

Interesting sculpture. When does the hospital date back to?

@susiemc I think the 1300's . The patients ate from silver plates with silver cutlery because the knights realised that silver does not carry infection. All instruments were silver too and the success rate for operations and infections was 72%.

@atwinfay this was huge. The covered table to the left is normal height. I should have had someone in the shot for a comparison . Mistake I'll try not to make again.

Great shot. Not a very good advert for a hospital, hope they can fix him. ha ha.
