Junk?

This Chinese style boat is on a quiet part of the beach at Denia, a town near to us. It has a dragon on the front too. I have no idea why it's there .

@chimfa Not for me. In the past it was usual to land with fishers boats on the beaches as there where no harbours then. On many old Dutch paintings they are to be seen

@pyrrhula @pyrrhula Thank you so much! The link you sent is wonderful. I have really enjoyed looking at these old paintings. We bought one small oil painting as a souvenir of our years in the Netherlands, when we left. I will try to photograph it tomorrow. It has no ships in it though!
