Dry river bed

Water very rarely flows under this bridge. I have never seen more than a trickle in 14 years.

that is dry, wonder why? the bridge looks like it was build when there was plenty of water and the river was alive with fishes and wildlife, wonder if there is a dam up stream or maybe they re-directed this river elsewhere
