Out of the darkness

We are in the uk today for the funeral of Ed's best friend Paul. This is the 3rd in 5 days. Back home tomorrow and I hope that will bring to a close an awful week. This shot was taken last week from the inside of a castle. At the time I took it I was thinking of trying to show how thick the walls were. Now it's taken on a new meaning.
