Went to a garden called a secret garden today with our photographic group. Lots of super cameras and 2 of us with the little pocket one I have. I'll post a few of my photos over the next few days. The garden is called L'Albarda and is a member of Fundem, a foundation for the conservation of the fauna and flora of the Mediterranean. There are 700 species of indigenous plants and a large collection of roses.
That is quite some garland of foliage over that building Jane. I hope you didn't feel intimidated with your pocket camera. As we know, it has great capabilities. What a lovely image to start the series - I would have been tempted by that pool.
@helenhall to @onewing@susiemc It's Virginia creeper. There were 2 varieties, both of which we had on our house in the UK. Lovely memory for me ( although our house was not at all grand like this one!) .
