Today we visited one of only about 5 people in Spain carrying on the tradition of making cow and sheep bells by hand.
We are having a few days away in a designated dark sky area with our astronomy group . The weather is horrendous at the moment but our afternoon trip was fascinating. This chap's family have been making these bells for 10 generations....and yes, his son is going to carry on. He has orders from other countries too and has made bells for various orchestras as well.
Hoping for better weather tomorrow for our second visit to see the vultures. We did this last year in I have to say glorious sunshine!
