I had a really special day today. Special, because it's my birthday, but also because I spent it with my step-daughter (who's more like my real daughter), Melissa. She's a busy mom, working on a degree, and preparing to leave on a week-long trip tomorrow morning. Yet, she made time today to spend it with me. We left early this morning headed to Shaker Village (which I'll be sharing those pictures with you later) and just took our time, stopping to take pictures along the way, like the one above. I couldn't have had a better day, doing what I love and sharing it with someone dear to me.
nice photo, beautiful landscape, i would have liked to be there, instead i was working in a office. i'm glad it was a beautiful day for you. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CINDY!!!!!!!!
Happy birthday! I'm so glad you got to spend your special day with someone you adore! This photo is splendid... the soft greens of the tree and grass, the fences, and the beautiful texture of that stone wall!
Yay! Happy Birthday, Cindy! Sounds like an incredible day! This is so gorgeous! I wouldn't be able to set my camera down and visit! Can't wait to see more of your day!
@orangecrush - Thanks Jerry! We snapped about 70 pictures but of course not all of them turned out to be keepers. It was a fun day. You know I've only taken 71 pictures so far in this project but man I'm hooked! I turned 58 today and I've finally found my passion.
is there anything better than Kentucky in the spring? Have fun at Shaker Village - it's been years since I've been there - looking forward to the pictures
