I saw this swing while at Shaker Village and just had to take a picture. The more I look at it the more it reminds me of my childhood. I used to love to swing, whether it was alongside my best friend, or by myself. It was fun, I felt carefree, and it gave me time to daydream. Makes me wish I had a swing in my back yard. I'd like to recapture that feeling.
Great photo! Only thing that would have made it better would be if you were actually swinging in it! (Reminds me of those days on the playground at Spencer Penn!)
This reminds me of a swing at my grandparents house... we spend many happy hours there ... more than a dozen cousins... so there was always someone available to give me a 'push' !
@pdelgin - Funny that you mentioned Spencer Penn. I told my husband that Teresa and I used to love to swing on those high swings. They were the best! Good to see you back on here, Pam. Sounds like you had a great trip!
