This is Lexington. Horse farms with acres and acres of beautifully manicured fields, fences that seem to go forever, and barns that are so magnificent you could mistake them for someone’s mansion. They’re everywhere here and I always love coming across a new one. They have some really unique names too. I saw one the other day with a sign that read:
My mother loved horses... for her last Christmas, Daddy gave Mom a trip to Lexington to tour horse country. Sadly, her cancer returned with a vengeance in February and she never got to make the trip. She would have loved this! Beautiful shot! Love the stables and fences!
It's been awhile (1960s) since I've been in Lexington, but I remember how beautiful the horse farms were. This is a fabulous countryside shot, Cindy.....picture perfect!
