Remembering

Although a bit behind, I wanted to post a picture in honor of the veterans who gave so much for our freedom, including my Daddy who served in World War II. I don't take it for granted. Viewing large is key to this picture.

A lovely and moving capture and a beautiful tribute. Now I am feeling bad that I did not do a tribute photograph to all the heroes who sacrificed and endured to ensure our freedom. I have been so caught up in my leaf series that I just forgot to do a tribute photograph. But I certainly did not forget the heroes we honor today.

So awesome viewed large, Cindy. The flag in the background says it all and I love the b & w wooded scene. My dad was just a tad too old to be drafted initially in WWII but he was next in line when the war ended.
