Shades of Pink

Sorry I've been MIA lately. This is a really busy month for me at work so hopefully next month I can post more often.

The flowers are coming in, especially after all the rain we've had, so I had to get out this afternoon (finally) to get a few shots.

I have no idea what type of flower this is! It looks like it might be some sort of Iris, but I've never seen anything like it. Anyone know?

The flower sort of looks like a peony, but it's not a bush.

@cimes1 - I know what you mean. As you can see, I haven't been very steady myself. Work is crazy busy right now but also I've just not been inspired to go out on the weekends like I used to. Maybe we'll get back in the swing of things soon. Miss "talking" to you everyday! Happy Mother's Day!

@cindymc Thank you, Cindy. I've just been real busy getting caught up with yard work, other household projects and then did my 2 books for Year One & Two. Not sure if I'll be coming back here or posting a photo a day on Facebook. But one thing I know, I definitely need to go out to other areas more as I've covered just about everything around the places I go everyday :-) You, on the other hand always come up with a super great shot. So don't give up!!
