(Hopefully). When I went on vacation to Virginia we threw our Mom an 80th birthday party. Two hours before the party began it started sleeting. Thankfully, it didn't deter the guests and she had a great turnout. I stayed with my Mama and sisters up in a cabin that night....on the top of the mountain. The next morning there was ice everywhere. We couldn't get down the road as it was a solid sheet of ice. We stayed an extra night in the cabin and thankfully the next morning it had a fresh layer of snow and the temperatures rose just enough to melt some of the ice on the graveled road. This was the sight I saw that morning. It was just breathtaking. Extraordinarily beautiful but my only thoughts were getting out of there so I could go home. I'll never forget that trip.
