@yellowdog - Yes. I love the watching (and photographing) the birds but I haven't taken the time yet to learn their names! I was assuming this was a finch but I didn't know what kind. Thanks for the help! :-)

Darling little house finch... your focus on the eye is perfect! We always have a nest of these finches in my hanging basket or wreath on the front porch... boy can they make a mess!
