@cityhillsandsea -- I made okayu in my rice cooker today because the vaccine booster made me feel not well. But I am missing the great umeboshi from Japan because here I can only buy OK ones.

I thought you were moving to England for work? Or are you staying in Ireland?

Well, there's an actual store that sells things online called The Japanese Store and it is based in Harrogate - which is just up the road.

In town, there is an Asian supermarket and, while it's mostly Chinese things, they do have an okay-ish Japanese section. Bit pricey though!
