I originally cropped way in on this photo to get rid of all the extra "stuff" that is our life. My Lightroom skills (I have zero photoshop skills) are not good enough to get rid of things, so I'm usually limited to cropping. But then I pulled back again and realized that I actually liked the contrast between her and the rest of the room. In her mind, she was on a stage somewhere instead of the middle of our house. And now that's what I see when I look at this photo.
Love the coloring and capture. Your daughter and mine are the same forever dancing (and falling), she is 19 yrs. now and still dancing and falling. Beautiful memories.

@gracefullyetched Thank you! As much as I love photography, knowing I am capturing these moments is by far the biggest draw for me. And it's cool when other parents can relate to wanting to savor these moments.
