Taken at sundown from the roof of our guesthouse. This image represents so much of Haiti, both its present and its future, it's beauty and its challenges. The chicken coop in the center was spearheaded by one of our team members and currently supplies more than 1,000 eggs each month to the children in four schools/orphanages. One thousand servings of desperately needed complete protein, all from fewer than 50 chickens. Amazing.
