I was totally off my game taking pics today. I had all my grandchildren together and I wasn't happy with any of my group shots. I used my 50mm. I wish I had used my kit lens and flash. The pics looked good in the camera, but not so good on the computer. I thought I had enough light, but I was wrong. I will have to wait another month to get them all together again.
Birds, cats, and butterflies are so much easier for me. I would have loved to have taken pics outside, but two of the grandchildren have been sick and it was a little cool outside.
Beautiful capture - she is gorgeous!! Just a suggestion - can you change your White balance on your PC - don't know what software you have. In LR you can change the WB and you seem to get a more natural tone not affected by the lights in the room. I always forget to change WB in camera for this type of shot and luckily in LR you are able to tweak it.
Well I think it's a lovely portrait capture and you know what's good about Grandchildren, you can give them back when you've finished playing with them.
