I had my pics for the day chosen and ready to post, when the hubby came in and said I should look for a rainbow. I never found a rainbow, but I did find something awesome. I found a flock of Cedar Waxwings in my trees. This is only the second time I have seen them and the first time to see them at my house. Last time they were at mom's.
The sun was already setting when I realised what I was seeing. They were flying from tree to tree, but twenty or so were in the bare mimosa tree. I took lots of shots hoping to get one decent one. They were mostly staying in the shadows, but this one was in the fading sunlight. I hope they are still around tomorrow morning!
