They'll find anywhere that's nice and warm, won't they? I remember starting up the car one day and hearing a thunking sound from under the bonnet. Opened it up and there was our cat, who'd decided to take a nap on the warm engine! Apart from a few pieces of fur, once we'd disentangled her from the fan belt she shot off across the hills and didn't come back for a couple of days. She was totally unharmed but had definitely used up a couple of lives.
