@tabbycat I haven't read a lot about damsels, but I know they are a lot smaller than dragonflies. This one is a dragonfly and it was huge. It's in the King Skimmer family. Dragonflies hold their wings open and damsels keep them close to their bodies.

@tabbycat damsels usually sit with their wings aligned along the body, not out flat like in this pic.
