This Black Swallowtail presented a big temptation for me. I found it in the same spot where I almost stepped on the big snake last month! I couldn't help myself. I had to get pics. I love my zoom lens, because I didn't have to get that close to the dreaded spot! :0)
Love these guys. I've had one visiting the last two days - I'm tickled with your comment about the zoom lens!! We could have been a match tonight - keep these good shots coming. I'm really enjoying.
I'm begining to suspect you have a special relationship with these creatures and they drop in and display themselves on your command. Awesome capture again.
