I know this pic is a technical mess. I'm posting it as a journal pic for the experience. :0)
I was up early this morning and was looking out the window for birds. It was cold and frosty and I was hoping for a cardinal in a frosty tree. I saw a deer beyond the tree and at the edge of the woods.
I grabbed my camera and put my coat on over my PJs. It was 24F outside. The deer saw me as soon as I rounded the corner of the house. I crept under a tree and tried to get an unobstructed shot. The deer were standing in a shaft of sunlight and weren't moving. I snapped pics anyway. I knew if I moved, they would be gone in a flash. When they did move, they were out of my view.
Another memory that goes with this pic is trying to take pics with a pack of hungry cats crying and rubbing against my legs! :0)
I think i get my best shots in my P.J.'s! lol!! sorry about the sun flare but you can still see the beauty of the landscape and those beautiful creatures! :)
24 and pj's - hope that coat was warm! Do like the picture though - I've "seen" lots more deer than I've ever been able to get a photo of - good job with this. It does look like a winter morn!
