Nala is not my kitty, but I did name her today. She appeared at my Mom's house a few days before Christmas. We don't know where she came from. No one has come looking for her and there hasn't been an ad in the paper. This happens a lot in our area.
She's an older cat and one of the most loving cats I've ever seen. She made friends with me last week. Today she followed me around while I took pics. She decided to climb my leg a couple of times. LOL! She's a snuggler and loves to be held.
I can't help but wonder why she's not still with her previous owners. It's obvious she has been loved at some time. Did they get tired of her? Did they move away and leave her? I guess we'll never know, but luckily she's found a home with my Mom and stepdad. They are cat lovers like me. :0)
Thank you so much for your kind comments and faves on my recent pics!!! :0)
She is gorgeous!! Great picture too!! I'm glad she found someone to care about her. Huge cat lover here... I have 6 inside and 4 ferals I care for outside. I just can't say no to a helpless kitty.
Beautiful cat! And I think that sometimes cats that go outside will switch alliances if they find a home and peeps that they like better. They are very fickle creatures!
She's a beauty alright . . great capture. Looks like a little miniature lioness up there. So happy that she's found a home. I adore cats (of course!) :)
This is a wonderful portrait of the cat. She is beautiful. I can't imagine anyone letting her go on purpose. Some how these cats seem to be guided to cat lovers. My daughter is one who takes in all cats. She's spent a fortune which didn't have on them and is crushed when one can't be saved. She just lost two to cancer and diabetes but she has five left.
How sad! And kudos to your mom for taking her in. That used to happen a LOT when I lived in Sacramento-I took in sooo many dumped and stray cats. She's beautiful
Oh she is adorable, can I have her........................please.................. shouldn't beg should I! I am sure she will be very happy with your Mum. Such a lovely photo Carolyn
wow she looks like a wild lion in the tree. I am so glad she has found a new home. I had a male cat about 18 years ago just go missing and he came back 12 month later, we were all so amazed, he stayed for about a month and then went again and that was it. I hope he found somone like you.
wonderful portrait of this little lioness, carolyn....and she seems to be very content with her new home :)
