Hanging by a claw

Rainy day! I was happy to see my Red-bellied Woodpecker at the feeder. He is a constant visitor and a lot of fun to watch. When I first started stalking him, he was skittish. He lets me get fairly close now. I always know when he's around, because he has a very loud voice!

Thank you for your nice comments on Baby Blue's pic yesterday!!! :0)

This is pic number 400 for my 365 album. I've been really lucky. All 400 are same day posted and I haven't used any fillers. 365 is a big part of my life and I really appreciate my 365 friends! :0)

Beautiful bird

He could peck a hole in the side of that feeder if he thinks it is not giving him enough food.

@digitalrn LOL! He was riding it like a merry-go-round. He's a little big for this feeder. He was spinning it around. :0)

Stunning photo . . for many reasons. Most of all I love the clarity of the bird and his antics. And the dof and bokeh raindrops are gorgeous. When a photographer is a great as you are, you don't need fillers. You're a natural at this. :)
