We had a mixture of sleet and snow for most of the day. It didn't stick. It was just messy. I went out briefly with my kit lens to take pics of the snow coming down. I like to take pics of the neighbor's farm, so I shot it.
This wasn't the pic I originally planned on posting, until I was looking at it magnified on the computer.
If you have followed me for awhile, you might remember that I've been stalking a Red-tailed Hawk. I looked at the pics and said a rude word, because he's in four of the shots I took. He's that tiny little bird on the middle fence post!!! I never knew he was there. This is the second time he's shown up, when I've had my zoom lens off. I'll get him one of these days. :0)
Thank you so much for your nice comments and faves on my Tufted pics!!! :0)
Beautiful when enlarged!! He's playing you, girl. I think that he's stalking you and one of these days, in great lighting, you are going to get that photo. Because, he's going to LET you. :)
@cjwhite I caught one of them in flight last week while i was still in P.A. its in my 2nd albumn ..still not a real cllear shot ( the one I posted) yet the one i got of him in flight was awesome but all i caught was his red tail!! ( didnt post) ..he he he!!
Too funny! They are elusive creatures. I finally got my shot this past Friday. Not great but you can tell it's a hawk. I'm going to get a good one yet!
oh noo... that sort of thing usually happens to me. lovely shot anyway, enjoy your snow. we are supposed to be having very mild weather here the end of the week...v strange
Great capture and amazed that you spotted the bird. I ditched my DSLR with 3 lenses because I constantly faid to have the correct one mounted. I'm sure you'll get him one day.
