Compound Eyes

I wanted to get a shot of the Carpenter Bee's eyes. I think they're cool.

I got my crystal ball in the mail today. I burned myself with the second pic I took. I knew it could happen, but didn't think it would happen that quickly! LOL! I'm going to need lots and lots of practice! :0)

@joelmalley It's a clear 80mm crystal ball. Sometimes they're called meditation balls. They can be used to take really cool reflection pics. Cheyenne@cheyrebecca has some really cool pics in her project using a crystal ball. :0)

This is a carpenter bee? It seems like what I call a bumblee bee....but I cannot see the body well. I LOVE this. I love taking insects pics and seeng parts that you'd never see without it. Fav!
