This bird feeder can hold food or water. During last summer's hot weather, I kept water in it for the birds. I think it looks like a hot tub for birds, especially when the small ones sit in it with their heads poking out. :0)
This is a female Cardinal and a Field Sparrow. The Cardinal was being nice for a change. She usually scares the little ones away.

Love the composition! Was looking at the last 8 days - almost exactly what we've been seeing here, cardinals, bluejays, sparrows, and the cute little downy woodpecker (who crashed hard into our windown yesterday but managed to survive). Love looking to see what you're seeing. Your photos are always so neat.
