I've been trying to get a decent shot of a robin with a worm for awhile. It's hard, because they usually swallow the worms whole in the blink of an eye! This male robin must have been gathering food for babies. He had a mouthful of worms plus a spider. I didn't know about the spider, until I got it on the computer. I apologize if this grosses you out. It is a tad yucky, but cool at the same time. :0)
Wow! Great capture! So crisp! I have been trying to get one for about a month, but I can't seem to get close enough without scaring them off...the dogs and the toddler don't help though! lol
What an awesome close up of a beautifull bird...... with dinner in his mouth, yet! Great capture. Yes, I'm familiar with one dog in particular getting in my way of photos now and then. Bummer.
Gosh when you enlarge this it's even more fantastic! The closest I've come is a robin with half a worm left. Still eye each robin carefully! Love how absolutely detailed this shot it. You are a master at that.
This is great! He is collecting alot of food for a smorgasbord! I got a robin with a spider in beak a out two weeks ago. It is hard to capture that....so I was excited.
