This is the first time I've seen this wildflower. It's named Moth Mullein, because it's said to resemble a moth, the stamens and style mimicking the insect's antennae and tongue. I really can't see the resemblance, but I really like the flower.
Thank you so much for your visits and comments. I haven't been commenting as much as I would like for awhile. There are some big changes going on in my life. I try to look at your pics everyday. Hopefully, things will be resolved soon and I can be a better 365 friend. Taking pics is the only thing keeping me sane right now.
Really is a pretty flower but like you can not see a resemblance

Wonderful shot...what a pretty flower...if I squinch my eyes and tilt my head and stick out my tongue.....lol....nope can't see the resemblance much. Hope things smooth out for you soon.
It's a lovely shot and you do what you can cope with at the moment - we will all still be here and we will wait for your issues to be sorted - the important thing is that you care for yourself and don't burden yourself with unnecessary guilt over limiting your time on 365
