My new butterfly I saw yesterday isn't an Anise. It's a Giant Swallowtail. They look similar. but the Giant has cool eyespots on its tails.
This post makes my total pics posted 1270. That's a little surreal to me. I realize how many I've posted sometimes, when I try to give pics a name. I couldn't come up with anything creative today. :0)
Thank you for visiting my project! The 365 isn't just a project for me anymore. It's a part of my life. Luckily, my family is very supportive in my picture taking endeavors. :0)
Absolutely fantastic! That mimosa is definitely doing its job in attracting butterflies. This one is super enlarged - the colors, the detail - just wonderful. Fav
Gorgeous! Seen side by side, you can really see the difference. I feel the same way you do about my project being a part of my life. Can't imagine life without it!
This is SO GREAT, Carolyn! I love it! The movement of the pink plant matter in the back..and butterfly flying by! Just so hard to get! I know! This is wonderful...fav...congrats on the PP!
What? I can only Fav once? Doesn't seem fair, does it?
This is flat-out amazing. Not only is the focus outstanding but you managed to get great composition too. It's like some kind of once in a lifetime shot. But then, I suppose many shots are once in a lifetime. Right time, right place. Luckily you have the talent to capture it for us all to see.
those are great flowers and a wonderful butterfly

It's so beautiful, I can't stop staring at it.
