I did take several butterfly pics today, but this Amberwing shot was my favorite. I think butterfly and dragonfly faces are so interesting. I really enjoy watching them through the zoom lens.
Dragonflies are constantly turning their heads looking for their next meal. This little guy was raising its wings ever so often. The cool thing about taking dragonfly pics is if they do fly away, they have favorite perches, so they come back to that spot. :0)
