Little Blue Heron?

I need help identifying this one. I think it's a water bird, but I don't live near any water. It made a brief stop in one of my maple trees. I was at the right place at the right time to get a few shots.

@lynnb yea, you're right. The neck was kinda twisty like an anhinga. But I zoomed in, and now I see heron.

Very similar to our Nankeen Night Herons... and they do fly from water course to other water source.
