The first day of my three day weekend was awesome. We met friends for an early lunch, then we did a bit of shopping. The best part was getting to visit my favorite photo spot, the Greenway, after the shopping.
This Yellow-crowned Night Heron was stalking something underneath the water plants. I would have loved to stay around long enough for the catch, but an approaching thunderstorm cut our walk short. I was just happy to get a few shots away from home. :0)
