Hey there! I saw and shot one of these in the ivy high in the trees behind our house (from our screen porch) last week. I looked it up and thought they called it a "blue spotted purple" which to me, did not make sense.... Are you sure it is a red spotted purple? This guy is so gorgeous! You got a better close up than I did!
