This guy definitely caused my heart to race this morning. I'm good with the spiders when I see them in the usual places. This garden spider was in my pumpkin vine. That means I was really close to it yesterday and didn't see it.

Not such a good encounter but great capture. She certainly stands out as does what I imagine to be a sack full of babies or has she wrapped something up for dinner?
