Every afternoon my huge oak tree catches the light and is as pretty as it was in the fall. I'm not sure why, but usually after its glory in autumn it turns brown for winter. It's just one month until spring when the buds will push these leaves off, but I have enjoyed its orange beauty this winter.
Beautiful, Carolyn! The light and rich tones are a visual feast. Here in Maine the trees have leaves less than half the year... I think I need to move south :)
