Mallard Attitude by ckwiseman

Mallard Attitude

This mallard isn't the real story. Just as I snapped this I slipped on the muddy embankment and tumbled in the mud... camera and all! I was a mess but was more concerned about the possible damage to my camera. I headed home and spent the next hour carefully cleaning. Thankfully all is well and no damage... to me or the camera.
So good to read, that you did not hurt yourself, and also the camera is ok. A little dirt goes with the job. Nice picture, though.

A case of "suffering for one's art"! This was worth it, Carolyn - you can see virtually every feather.

Well, prior to falling in the mud, you captured an amazing, colorful picture of this handsome fellow. Aren't you glad he didn't have a camera for catching your action. Glad both you and your camera survived unscathed.
