Mute Button

What is a pacifier called in your part of the world??? We call it a passie or binkie. Whatever it is, sometimes it's a much-needed "mute" button. :)
So precious!

Aww, so sweet! I didn't use pacifiers that much for my kids, but I do remember how I always sterilized it for the first kid, and by the last one, it was lucky to have cold water run on it for a few seconds after encounters with the floor! Glad it works!

@mtbell Margaret, how true that is about how we sterilize everything for that first little one, and then find that the others thrive just as well without so much! I laughed at your comment!

I'm re-posting my comment, as it didn't read very politely when I looked at it. We call them dummies, as they're substitutes for 'the real thing'. I know that in the US, the word has an entirely different slang meaning. Sorry if any offence caused.

Coming from England it is called a dummy and living in South Africa it is called a pacifier.
Love the dof
