We had our preschool party today and I received an assortment of gifts from my sweet kids.... everything from homemade corn chowder to lotion, candles, monkey mug, taco seasoning, cookie mix, hot chocolate, all-purpose cleaner, and more!! I will enjoy every gift and think of the sweet little giver. Notice my tree in the background with the lights out on the top section. Must work on them!!
Oh, the memories! I wasn't the teacher but the teaching assistant in kindergarten for ten years. Each gift was so special not only to me but to the child giving it. The most treasured ones were the "art work" given from their hearts when it was not possible to give a purchased item.
