We are waiting in the Amarillo airport for my son and wife and baby who are flying in from Ohio for Christmas. This is the statue of Rick Husband, Amarillo native, who was killed on the space shuttle, Discovery, when it disintegrated on re-entry in 1999. This is taken with my cell phone.
What a lovely way to honor a brave and outstanding American. I also remember when this occurred. Enjoy having your family with you at this time..... Merry Christmas.
