Took part in my first 10K run at the Pink Run in Abu Dhabi - a tad hotter than I'd anticipated even though it was a 7am start, mostly because of the 70% humidity. Made it round in 1hr 9mins which I was pleased with in the circumstances.
The race was in aid of a breast cancer charity in the UAE and raised about £10,000. It also gave me a boost on my own 1,000 mile run in aid of a UK hospice. Visit my blog at www.1000milerun.tumblr.com for more info
