Simultaneously one of the scariest and friendliest places I've ever visited. This is one of the villages outside Buenos Aires where the police and ambulances stay away due to the violence. As I was there volunteering for a charity that helps children, I was welcomed with open arms and beautiful smiles but I never forgot where I was or left the place we were taken to. And I always made sure I was wearing my volunteer t-shirt. A really unique experience
Critique/suggestions welcomed for any of my shots. I want to improve so appreciate any comments you have.
Edit: 28/3/23: It seems I'm not good at consistent...
I volunteered in Peru for a children's charity - and it was the same. Stark contrasts to home. Very eye opening experience. This image reminds me of my trips there.
@wag864 Yes, eye opening is definitely true, makes you realise your luck
