This is obviously not a photo that I took myself, but I came across it today in an old family album. I was struck, not just by what the faces meant to me personally, but by the quality of both the paper and the image. I’m sure I have more recent prints that have degraded more than this one (taken in 1938).

It's tru what you say about the qualities of some ol;d prints and how well they have worn and weathered. Great image.

A lovely portrait of your relatives. I daresay you photographed the photo, making it a valid image for 365. It is possible to repair and restore old photos digitally. I have done that before and the effect is magical!
