Climbed the Hills from a different place while walking the dogs this morning. Road closures have forced me to explore different ways onto the Hills.

I like the colours in the sky and the way you've caught the sunlight on the hills, echoing the bright light on the tree-trunk. Perhaps a bit too much brackeny foreground, and I'm not sure about the branches creeping in at top left?

@jlmather Hi John, thank you for your comments much appreciated. I cropped the left and the bottom. I didn’t want to lose the tree trunk base and the tree branches helped frame the composition. But it is interesting making a selection.
